Squeezing a pimpleSqueezing pimples is one of those things that when you look in the mirror and see the zit on your face, your fingers go automatically to the spot and start squeezing the heck out of the pimple. It’s like the fingers suddenly get a life of their own, totally independent from your mind.
We all know how difficult is to NOT squeeze the pimple, so rather than doing it the wrong  way and end up with even more pimples, red dots, scars and what not on your face, let me give you a rundown of doing it the right way. Ever since I learned this method - from a dermatologist, who officially denies ever having told me this :-) - my face shows hardly any marks after having removed that offending zit.So this is how you do it to squeeze a pimple:

  1. WAIT until the pimple is ‘ready’ so to speak. You know when it’s ready because you see it’s quite risen on the top of your skin and in the center there is a while ’sack’ is ready to bust on its own.
  2. To prepare for squeezing the pimple, make sure your hands are washed very carefully, particularly under the nails and the fingertips.
  3. Take one of your sewing needles, sterilize it by holding it above a flame (from a zippo for example) for a few second. Just run the needle through the flame.
  4. Once the needle is sterilized, prick lightly the tip of the white zit in the center, to pop it open.
  5. Place a piece of tissue over your fingertips. The tissue will keep your fingertips from slipping and damaging your skin. Using your fingertips, squeeze the pimple gently, putting an equal amount of pressure on it from all sides.
  6. Once the puss starts coming, clear it away with the tissue.
  7. Take a new tissue (you don’t want to re-contaminate the place) and continue the gentle squeeze, until you see clear liquid coming from the broken pimple. Soon you will see the first drop of blog.
  8. This is where you stop. Once you see the blog, do NOT continue to squeeze, as you will only damage your skin in the process.
  9. Apply some hydrogen peroxide on the spot to start the healing process.

Make sure you wash your hand before starting the pimple squeeze, when you change your tissue and at the end as well. You do not want bacteria to go back to the open wound on your face.

If you used these steps carefully and gently, your face should be healed within maximum 2 days.

If there is anything you should really take away from these tips is this: do not, and I mean DO NOT try to squeeze your pimple UNLESS you see the white little swelling in the middle of your pimple. If you see it there, this is your sign that the pimple is ready to burst and  you can safely remove it.
