Body acne treatment - your guide
Body acne is a skin disease that can be cured by proper treatment. Production of a complex oily substance called sebum by the sebaceous glands causes the skin pores to get blocked allowing bacteria to build up. Body acne is different than facial acne, and is much harder to treat, because blemishes are usually deep and highly inflamed. Often people use tight clothes and due to sweating it may starts itching on the skin of your body hence resulting in body acne. Tight fitting clothes lock in the skin and don’t allow it to breathe properly.
- Treating body acne takes time, and it is important to remain patient. Just be consistent with daily skin care routine and medications. If after few weeks of use, you feel that the medication is not working, talk to your dermatologist.
